Zoological Museum of Bogor

The Zoological Museum of Bogor, established in 1894 by the Batavia Society of Art and Science

The Zoological Museum of Bogor (Museum Zoologicum Bogorinse) was established by the Batavia Society of Art and Science in Bogor, Indonesia. The group made the plans for the Hortus Botanicus Bogoriense in Bogor in 1817 and set up the Museum Zoologicum Bogoriense in 1894. The Bibliotheca Bogoriense (Bogor Library) made Bogor into an important center of biological science.[1]
