Zhibek Nukeeva' (Kyrgyz: Жибек Нукеева)(27 February 1995 – 16 July 2017) was a Yenisei Kyrgyz model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Kyrgyzstan 2013.

Early life

Nukeeva was a student of business management, and spoke Kyrgyz and French languages.[1]

Nukeeva was crowned as Miss Kyrgyzstan 2013, represented Bishkek.[2]

Miss World 2013

Nukeeva competed at Miss World 2013 in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia. She was unplaced at the competition.

Death

Zhibek died on 16 July 2017, after the rare cancer disease Myxoid chondrosarcoma. It is known to be rare cancer that affects the bones and joints. She was living in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan but was sent by her family to Turkey, for getting a better and good treatment. For her treatment, Zhibek's GoFundMe raised $6,172 for medication but cancer has already spread to other parts of the body.[3]
