Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone
The Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone, or Zamboecozone as it is known, is an economic zone located in the Zamboanga City located in the province of Zamboanga del Sur in Mindanao. It is the only economic zone located in Western Mindanao.
History
Republic Act No. 7903 enacted by the Congress of the Philippines gave birth to the establishment of Zamboecozone.
Administration
The ecozone is governed by the Board of Directors of the Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone Authority, a body corporate to handle the management and operation of the ecozone.
