Z111 Factory
The Z111 Factory is located in Thanh Hoá, Vietnam.[1] It produces small arms like the TT-33, machine guns like the PKM and assault rifles such as the AK-47 for the People's Army of Vietnam. Its output capacity is classified. [2] The factory is directed by the General Department of Defence Industry.[3]
The Z111 Factory is also charged with producing the Galil ACE, a modern Israeli assault rifle which is now the current standard-issue assault rifle of People's Army of Vietnam, under IWI license.[4] The factory has also produced the M18, a Vietnamese copy of the CAR-15, since 2010.[5]
