Zębowice ([zɛmbɔˈvit͡sɛ], German: Zembowitz) is a village in Olesno County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Zębowice.[1] It lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) south of Olesno and 32 km (20 mi) east of the regional capital Opole.
The village has a population of 1,500. 44% of the population is Germans. Zębowice is with the largest proportion of members of the German minority in Poland.[2]
