Yuri Katz, (also credited as Yurri Katz and Yuri Kattz) is a Ukraine-born American musician, arranger, and music producer.

Katz worked on different recording projects by Grammy nominated bassist Nathan East (horns arranger[1]), DJ Felli Fel, Jamie Kennedy and Stu Stone (engineer, mixing),[2] Grammy nominated artist - songwriter Howard McCrary,, rappers Chamillionaire, Ya Boy, and BooSkills[3], Latvian pop star Laima Vaikule, and others.

Born on July 15, 1973 to a musician mother and photographer father. After graduating music school as a woodwinds player Katz studied jazz and arranging at Gnessin State Musical College.

In 1999, Katz formed an electronica band named Access Denied[4] with composer-keyboardist Anatoly Stolboff.[5] They released a world music New Age[6] album titled Intermesh.[7]
