Yovel Zoosman (born May 12, 1998) is an Israeli professional basketball player for Maccabi Tel Aviv of the Israeli Premier League and the EuroLeague.

Professional Career

Zoosman joined Maccabi Tel Aviv B.C. from Wingate Institute,[1] making his debut in Israel’s top-flight Premier League during the 2015-16 season. He also played a single game in the EuroLeague that year.[2]

Prior to the 2016-17 campaign, Zoosman was loaned to Maccabi Ra'anana of the second tier Liga Leumit.

On July 27, 2017, Maccabi Tel Aviv announced that Zoosman will be included in their roster of the 2017–18 season. [3]

National team

Zoosman helped the Israeli national team win silver at the 2014 FIBA Europe Under-16 (Division B) Championship and at the 2015 FIBA Europe Under-18 (Division B) Championship. He led Israel in scoring at the 2016 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship in Turkey, averaging 15.5 points a game.[4]

In July 2017, Zoosman helped the Israeli U-20 national team to reach the 2017 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship finals by averaging 16.3 points per game. [5]
