The first season of the American comedy-drama television series Younger premiered on March 31, 2015, on TV Land.[1] Starring Sutton Foster in the lead role of Liza Miller, the season consisted of twelve episodes and concluded its initial broadcast on June 9, 2015.

The season has met positive response from critics. Before the first season ended, Younger was renewed for a second season of 12 episodes on April 21, 2015.[2] The last episode caught 1.23 million viewers and a 0.2 share/rating.[3][4]

The first season has received positive reviews from critics. On Rotten Tomatoes, it has a 97% rating based on 35 reviews and an average rating of 7.6/10. The site's critical consensus reads: "Darren Star's witty writing and Sutton Foster's charisma help elevate Younger above some of TV Land's previous sitcoms."[22] On Metacritic, the season has a score of 75% based on 20 reviews, indicating "generally favorable reviews".[23]
