Yllenus is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders), found from central Europe to China.[1]
Y. arenarius is peculiar in building silken nests under the sand surface of sandy dunes it inhabits.[2]
Species
Many of the species formerly placed in this genus were transferred to new genera Logunyllus and Marusyllus by Jerzy Prószyński in 2016.[3][1]
