The Yilan County Council (ILCC; Chinese: 宜蘭縣議會; pinyin: Yilán Xiàn Yìhuì) is the elected county council of Yilan County, Republic of China. The council composes of 34 councilors lastly elected through the 2014 Republic of China local election on 29 November 2014.

History

After the handover of Taiwan from Japan to the Republic of China in 1945, the ROC central government began to set up city and county assemblies according to the Institute of Organization for City and County Councils in 1946. In April 1950, Taiwan Provincial Government announced the Outline for Implementing Local Autonomy for Cities and Counties for the local autonomy implementation. The administrative regions were reallocated in September and Yilan County Council was founded on 24 February 1951.[1]
