Park Ye-eun (Hangul: 박예은; born May 26, 1989), commonly known as Ye-eun, Yenny or Ha:tfelt, is a South Korean singer and songwriter. She debuted in 2007 as a member of the South Korean girl group Wonder Girls. In July 2014, Yeeun made her debut as a solo artist with the EP Me? under the stage name Ha:tfelt.

Career

2007–12: Career beginnings with the Wonder Girls

In January 2007, Yeeun was revealed as the fifth member of Wonder Girls. The group officially debuted on MBC's Show! Music Core on February 10, 2007. She composed the songs "Saying I Love You" and "For Wonderful", and performed them live in one of Wonder Girls' US concerts.[1]

In 2012, she wrote a song for the drama Dream High 2, which was released on February 14, 2012. She later made a cameo appearance on the drama to perform the song.[2][3] She also composed several songs in the Wonder Girls' recent albums such as "G.N.O (Girl's Night Out)" from their sophomore album and "Wonder World". In addition to that, Yeeun also helped to compose and write the lyric of several song for other artists such as "Get It?" by Younha featuring herself and the rapper Cheetah and "그게 너라면 (If That Was You)" by bandmate Sunmi.

2013–14: Solo debut with Me?

On July 23, 2014, it was announced that Yeeun would be making her debut as solo artist under the pseudonym Ha:tfelt (amalgamation of the pronunciation of the word "Hot" and "Heartfelt"). Her debut mini-album Me? with title track "Ain′t Nobody" was released on July 31, 2014.[4] She made her official solo debut stage on July 31, 2014 on Mnet's M! Countdown.[5]The album was included in Billboard's list of the 10 best K-pop albums of 2014.[6]

2015–2017: Wonder Girls disbandment and departure from JYP Entertainment

On June 24, 2015, it was announced that Wonder Girls would be making a comeback after a two-year hiatus, with a new band concept. [7] She later participated in composing "One Black Night" for Wonder Girls' third album Reboot. She later also received credits for the B-side track "Sweet & Easy" on the group's 2016 comeback Why So Lonely.

On January 26, 2017, it was announced that Wonder Girls were to disband after unsuccessful contract renewal negotiation with some of its members, including Yeeun herself, who parted ways with JYP Entertainment. The group released their final single "Draw Me" on February 10.[8] On January 28, 2017, it was reported that Yeeun had been meeting with Amoeba Culture to discuss her future as a musician. [9] On April 10, it was reported that she officially signed with Amoeba Culture, becoming the first female solo artist represented by the label in eleven years.[10]

Personal life

On September 21, 2016, JYP Entertainment released an official report stating that Yeeun and 2AM's Jinwoon are in a relationship and had been dating for the past 3 years. On April 23, 2017, it was announced that the pair had parted ways.
