Yasmine Mustafa

Yasmine Mustafa is an American CEO, entrepreneur, and activist. She is originally from Kuwait. [1][2]

Early life

Mustafa lived in Kuwait until she was eight years old. She evacuated with her family when the Gulf War began. [2]

Professional life

Mustafa attended Temple University part-time, financing her own education and graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2006. [1] In 2009, she started 123LinkIt, a company created to help writers make money off of their blogs. [1][3] She also founded the Philadelphia chapter of Girl Develop It, a nonprofit organization that teaches web and software development to women. [1][4]

Mustafa is the founder and CEO of ROAR for Good, a company which creates wearable technology to empower women and increase safety. [5]

In 2016, Mustafa was recognized in BBC's annual 100 Women series where the recognize significant achievements of women around the world. [6]
