Xiuhtezcatl Martinez, or Xiuhtezcatl Roske-Martinez, is a climate change activist, hip-hop artist and youth director of Earth Guardians, a worldwide conservation organization.[1][2]
As a teenager, Martinez has given TED talks and spoken before the United Nations on environmental policy.[1]
Martinez's first name is an Aztec word pronounced "Shi-TASS-cahk".[1][3][4][5]
Martinez was raised in Boulder, Colorado.[6]
