Gray Matter Interactive Studios, Inc. was a computer game developer founded in 1994, and acquired by Activision in January 2002.[1] Gray Matter used to be known as Xatrix Entertainment, Inc..
Towards the end of development for Call of Duty: United Offensive in 2004, Gray Matter was merged into Treyarch.
