XEUACH-AM is a radio station in Chapingo, State of Mexico and is the radio station of the Universidad Autónoma Chapingo. It broadcasts on 1610 kHz from studios on the university campus.
History
The station began AM transmissions after receiving its permit in 1997. It was Mexico's first AM expanded band station, broadcasting initially with just 30 watts. In 2000, it raised its power to 250 watts, changing to 5,000 watts in 2007.
