Wuhan Yangtze International School (WYIS; 武汉长江国际学校[1]) is an English-language international school located within the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) in Wuhan, Hubei, China. WYIS uses an American curriculum and serves grades PreK-12.[2] It opened in 2003 as the South Lake International School. The school has expanded to over 200 students today, representing more than 35 countries and territories.

WYIS' mission is to educate the child socially, spiritually, intellectually, physically, and emotionally to become a dynamic individual of truth and excellence who positively contributes to society.

History

Wuhan Yangtze International School is a member of iSC, the International Schools Consortium. iSC is a division of the LDi family of companies, an organization committed to leadership development, training, and transformation.
