Notable Performers
The World of Dance stage consists of dance crews, choreographers, and freestylers. Many of the groups that have competed or performed in World of Dance have also participated in some of the most popular nationally televised dance competitions such as America's Best Dance Crew (ABDC). In addition, all seven ABDC's champions—JabbaWockeeZ, Super Cr3w, Quest Crew, We Are Heroes, Poreotics, I.aM.mE, and Electrolytes—have participated in World of Dance either as competitors, judges, or guest performers.
Other crews and troupes who have been featured on ABDC such as 8 Flavahz, Kaba Modern, SoReal Cru, Phunk Phenomenon, Mos Wanted Crew, and Instant Noodles have also performed at the World of Dance.[17][18][19]
Notable dancers to have performed at various World of Dance events include: Gotham actress Camren Bicondova, Les Twins, Chachi Gonzales, Dytto, Ian Eastwood, Kaelynn Gobert-Harris, Black-ish star Miles Brown, and SYTYCD Season 10 Male Winner Fik-Shun. Les Twins got a write up in USA about their hip-hop performance "Although the audience was cheering along to Les Twins’ fierce moves the entire performance, their routine's intense ending made judge Jennifer Lopez jump out of her seat in shock."[20]
Even India's famous dance group Desi Hoppers has taken part in the World of Dance and won it. They had shown their journey on bindass Naach. The group was led by Shantanu Maheshwari, Nimit Kotian and Macedon D'Mello.
