Wind power in Wisconsin
Wind power in Wisconsin contributes to the state's renewable portfolio standard established in 1998.[1] There are several wind turbine installations and wind farms in the state, which as of 2013 produced 648MW.[2][3] Regulations regarding the siting of wind turbines substantially hinder the development of wind farms in the state.[4][5][6]
A 98 MW wind farm, the Quilt Block Wind Farm, was under construction in southwest Wisconsin as of February 2017.[7]
