William Rowe (Lord Mayor of London)
Sir William Rowe was Sheriff of London in 1583 and Lord Mayor of London 1592.[1] He was Master of the Worshipful Company of Ironmongers. He was knighted (between 24 Apr and 23 May) 1593; he died 23 Oct 1593.

William Rowe was married to Jane Lucar (dau of Emanuell Lucar or Lewknor of London)
- Nicholas Rowe of Muswell Hill, Middlesex (b c1568, d 17.08.1616) married Elizabeth Rivers daughter of Sir George Rivers of Chafford
- William Rowe (b c1573, a 1634) married Cicely Rowe daughter of William Rowe of Higham Hills
- Julia(n) Rowe married Francis Babington
- Suzan Rowe who apparently married firstly to Richard Welby (bpt 1563, d 1634) secondly to Julian Muffett (Moffytt) widow of James Haes (James Huyshe) of London) [2]
