William Cassady Cattell (b. August 30, 1827, in Salem, New Jersey; d. February 11, 1898, in Philadelphia) was a Presbyterian divine and educator of the United States.
Biography
He graduated from Princeton College in 1848, and from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1852. From 1855 to 1860, he was professor of Latin and Greek at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania, where he was president from 1863 to 1883. He was secretary of the Board of Ministerial Relief of the Presbyterian Church from 1883 until his death.
