Will Parks (born July 29, 1994) is an American football safety for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Broncos in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.[1] He played college football at the University of Arizona.

Professional career

On May 12, 2016, Parks signed with the Denver Broncos.[2] In Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals, Parks recorded his first career interception off of a tipped pass from Andy Dalton, helping to preserve a 29-17 win for the Broncos.

On November 13, 2016, as the New Orleans Saints attempted to put themselves in a position to win the game with a PAT at the Superdome, and it was blocked by teammate Justin Simmons, Parks grabbed it in midair and ran it in for a 2-point safety, winning the game for the Broncos instead by a score of 25-23.[3] A challenge by the Saints, who claimed he momentarily stepped out of bounds, was denied by the referees, and because his white shoes matching the color of the sidelines so closely that video evidence was inconclusive, Parks was compelled to reply: “I did ballet when I was 5 years old, so I know I had the balance to stay in.”

Personal life

On June 2, 2017, Parks was arrested for misdemeanor harassment and non-physical domestic violence charges involving a former girlfriend.[4]
