Wild Angels is a 1995 album and third album by Martina McBride.[1][2] The album produced the singles "Safe in the Arms of Love", "Wild Angels", "Swingin' Doors", "Phones Are Ringin' All Over Town", and "Cry on the Shoulder of the Road". "Wild Angels" was McBride's first Number One on the Hot Country Songs charts. In the U.S. the album was certified Gold on February 23, 1996, and Platinum on February 6, 1998, by the R.I.A.A.

Also included is a cover of "Two More Bottles of Wine", which was previously a #1 hit for Emmylou Harris in 1978. "Safe in the Arms of Love" was originally recorded by Wild Choir on their self-titled 1986 album, Baillie & the Boys on their 1989 album Turn the Tide, Kennedy Rose on their 1994 album Walk the Line, and Michelle Wright on her 1994 album The Reasons Why. Wright's version of the song was a Top 10 hit in Canada. "A Great Disguise" would later be recorded by Pam Tillis on her 1998 album Every Time. This was Martina's last album to have a neotraditional country sound before developing a more crossover-friendly country-pop sound.
