Wiesław Adamski

Wiesław Adamski (26 July 1947 10 February 2017) was a Polish sculptor.[1]

Biography

Born in Szczecinek County, Adamski graduated from State High School fine arts in Szczecin and then studied at the Sculpture Department of the National Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań.[2] He specialised in small sculptures, medals, portraits and blacksmithing. Adamski's works have been exhibited in Helsinki, Poltava, Berlin, Madrid, Washington, Warsaw, Rotterdam and Paris. One noted work by Adamski is a potato monument in Biesiekierz.[2]

Adamski died on 10 February 2017 in Wałcz, at the age of 69.[3]
