Wierzbowo [vjɛʐˈbɔvɔ] (German: Wiersbau; 1938-45: Lockwinnen) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Mrągowo, within Mrągowo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south of Mrągowo and 54 km (34 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
