Wierzbie [ˈvjɛʐbjɛ] (German: Wackenau) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Łambinowice, within Nysa County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) east of Łambinowice, 21 km (13 mi) east of Nysa, and 28 km (17 mi) south-west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 639.
