Where'd You Go, Bernadette is an upcoming American comedy-drama film, directed by Richard Linklater, from a screenplay by Linklater, Holly Gent Palmo, Vincent Palmo Jr., Michael H. Weber and Scott Neustadter. It is based upon the novel of the same name by Maria Semple. It stars Cate Blanchett, Billy Crudup, Kristen Wiig, Judy Greer, Laurence Fishburne, Troian Bellisario and James Urbaniak.
It is scheduled to be released on May 11, 2018, by Annapurna Pictures.

Production
In January 2013, Annapurna Pictures and Color Force acquired the rights to the film adaptation of the novel, with Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber writing the screenplay, Semple, Bryan Unkeless, and Ted Schipper executive producing.[1] In February 2015, Richard Linklater was announced to direct the film.[2] In November 2015, Cate Blanchett joined the cast of the film.[3] In April 2016, It was announced that Holly Gent Palmo and Vince Palmo had taken over writing duties on the film.[4]
In March 2017, Kristen Wiig was announced to star in the film.[5] In May 2017, Billy Crudup joined the cast of the film.[6] In June 2017, Judy Greer, James Urbaniak and Laurence Fishburne joined the cast of the film.[7][8][9] In July 2017, Troian Bellisario joined the cast of the film.[10]
Filming
Principal photography began on July 10, 2017.[11][12][13]
Release
It is scheduled to be released on May 11, 2018.[14]
