Westferry Circus

Westferry Circus is within the within the Canary Wharf complex in London, and contains a two-level road interchange. There are two roundabouts, one above the other. It was designed by Laurie Olin.[1]

Lower roundabout

The lower roundabout was used as a venue for the JapGirls, a club for female enthusiasts for Japanese cars on 25 February 2007. They staged a tunnel run around the lower roundabout.[2] Tower Hamlets Council bears responsibility for the lighting in the lower roundabout, which is on all the time. This costs £34,800 per annum.
