Expansions and renovations
The secondary school will be getting a significant addition to the school, adding room for an additional 250 students with new classrooms and specialty rooms, including a new dance room (rumoured; currently officially set as unspecified 'arts' room) and gym. Construction is planned to begin in the fall of 2017 (unconfirmed) and be completed by early 2018.[1] The addition will cost approximately 7.8 million dollars, and in total will add: at least 9 classrooms (including 1 classroom dedicated to science & technologies studies), 2 new arts classrooms, a new gymnasium including a gender-neutral washroom and change rooms, and department offices for teachers.
