Wesley Atkinson (born 13 October 1994) is an English professional footballer who plays for Notts County as a right back.

Career

West Bromwich Albion

Atkinson was born in West Bromwich. A West Bromwich Albion youth graduate, he was handed a third-year scholarship deal on 7 June 2013.[1] On 22 May 2013 Atkinson signed his first professional deal with WBA, running until 2015.[2]

On 27 November, after featuring regularly in the club's under-21 side, he was loaned to Cambridge United until 3 January.[3] On 13 December, Atkinson made his professional debut, replacing Tom Naylor in the 77th minute of a 0–0 home draw against Shrewsbury Town for the League Two championship.[4]

At the end of the 2014–15 season, Atkinson was released by the club.[5]

Notts County

Atkinson joined Notts County on a one-year contract on 20 July 2015.[6]

On 4 March 2017, Atkinson was loaned out to for one month.[7] The loan deal was later extended until 6 May 2017.[8]
