Waves platform

Waves Platform is a cryptocurrency project started by entrepreneur Sasha Ivanov in 2016. It managed to raise $16 million in a crowdfunding campaign,^[1] making it one of the biggest crowdfunding campaigns to date. It has since then released its platform which has thousands of users and daily transactions. Waves Platform's main value proposition is that it allows anyone to release a new blockchain token in less than a minute.^[2] It offers a purposely built blockchain, built from the ground up, and users can interact with this platform by using a Chrome App or downloading the full application and running it from their computers.
