Water Sign is the fifth studio album by Chris Rea, released in 1983. It was one of the best-known albums by Chris Rea. "I Can Hear Your Heartbeat" was the most well-known song on the album, and was a minor gay disco club hit. It was released twice on 12" Dance Single format - the first release available in North America on the Magnet label as a British Import, 5:49 timing; the second remixed by Kevin Unger as an 8 minute+ remix. The song was rerecorded in a new version for his New Light Through Old Windows greatest hits release.
