Water Country USA is a water theme park in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA. It is the Mid-Atlantic's largest water park, and it offers live entertainment, shops and restaurants, water rides, and other attractions, all of which have a 1950s or 1960s surf theme. It is owned by SeaWorld Entertainment. The park is just a few miles away from Busch Gardens Williamsburg, with which it shares clientele. Multi-park passes are available, and a parking pass at Water Country USA is valid for same-day entry to Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
Rides
- Aquazoid:
- Big Daddy Falls: Family ride with a tunnel, water curtain, a "cannon blaster," and two splash pools while it holds about 4-5 people each "tube". Opened in 1995.
- Colossal Curl: Family ride. This slide is the first of its kind in North America. The ride starts out with a Tornado 24', and you then go through twists and turns that shoot you up a TornadoWave. This concept by ProSlide to have 2 features in 1 ride is called WorldALLEY. Colossal Curl features 4-person clover tubes, and the slide is 552 feet long according to the park's website. Opened in 2014
- Hubba-Hubba Highway: Fast-moving action river with interactive water features. Opened in 2003.
- Jet Scream: Four single-person fast-moving inner-tube slides.
- Jammin' Juke Box: A 33-foot tall water slide tower located in Rock N' Roll Island that is home to three body slides: "The Hully Gully", "Funky Chicken", and "The Twist". Opened in 2008.
- Little Bopper: Small children's slide located in Rock N' Roll Island. Originally part of the Adventure Isle section of the park.
- Malibu Pipeline: Two mirror image slides with covered sections and two water curtains. It uses single-rider "tubes" and has a layout of a figure eight. Opened in 1993.
- Meltdown: A 701 foot long three person "Surf-boggan" tube ride that replicates riding down an avalanche with 180 degree turns and endless chills. Opened in 2000.
- Nitro Racer: This ride uses six slide lanes to allow guests to race face first on plastic/foam mats to race your family and friends on a hot day! Opened in 1998.
- Rampage: A toboggan slide which drops riders 75 feet at a 60 degree angle.
- Surfer's Bay: Virginia's largest wave-pool, offering four-foot waves.
- Vanish Point: A 75 ft tall tower with 2 body slides that are at a near vertical angle, and 2 slides with a Skybox launch (The floor drops out from under you). Opened in 2011.
- Wild Thang: Two person inner tube ride through open/covered sections and three water curtains.
Defunct Rides
- Atomic Breakers: A series of slides and splash pools. Closed and removed 2007.
- Lemon Drop: 2 short Yellow body flumes which dropped into a deep (10 ft) section of the Adventure Isle pool. Closed and removed in 2008.
- Little Twister: A small pink children's water slide in the Adventure Isle area. Moved adjacent to the Jammin' Juke Box slide tower in the 2008 season with the change to Rock 'n' Roll Island. Renamed "Little Bopper.
- Peppermint Twist: Two steep purple-colored body slides take riders through a 180 degree curve. This ride closed following the 2007 season. The tower, however, remains intact and is used as the tower for the new Jammin' Jukebox body slides.
- Volleyball Courts: Several beach volleyball courts that took up the space where Hubba Hubba Highway is now, and before that were located across from Jet Scream where the lockers are. (Catering was where the restrooms are.)
Shows
- AQUABATICS!: Experience an all-new dive show that will amaze guests with powerful displays of athleticism, featuring diving athletes, acrobatic tumblers, rhythmic gymnasts, and the return of the fan favorite The High Dive! This show no longer happens. The dive tower was dismantled in 2015 before the season started.
Attractions
- Cow-A-Bunga: A heated water playland for children under 54", offering water slides, fountains and waterfalls.
- H20-UFO: Slides and fountains in an area set aside for patrons under 56".
- Kritter Korral: Play equipment and miniature slides for the park's smallest guest. Reserved for children under 50".
- Rock N' Roll Island: A rock and roll themed area featuring music from the 1950s and ‘60s. The area features a water obstacle course surrounded by a 700-foot lazy river, as well as the Jammin' Jukebox
