Waqar Zaka is a Pakistani VJ-turned-television host.[1]
Waqar began his career by releasing the song "Nahi Parha Meine Poora Saal".[2] He then became a VJ. He hosted a reality show Living on the Edge.[2][1] Waqar then created and hosted reality shows XPOSED,[2] King of Street Magic,[2] Desi Kudiyan and The Cricket Challenge aired on ARY Musik.[3]
In Pakistani general election, 2013, Zaka ran for the seat of the National Assembly of Pakistan from Karachi NA-253 constituency,[4] but was unsuccessful.[5][6][7]
In 2017, he received award from Abdul Qadeer Khan for his social and humanitarian work in war-torn areas of Syria and Myanmar.[8]
