Wandering Wenda
Wandering Wenda is an animated children's television series based on Wandering Wenda and Widow Wallop’s Wunderground Washery, a 2011 novel by Margaret Atwood. It was greenlit for 26 eight-minute episodes in 2016, initially scheduled for winter of 2017.[1]
It debuted sooner than initially expected, in the spring of 2017 instead, either April 29[2] or May 20.[3]
On CBC Kids, it is one of two works by Atwood picked up for CBC Television's autumn lineup, the other being Alias Grace (miniseries). [4]
