WADDANI (Somali: Waddani, Arabic: واداني) is a political party in Somaliland, a self-declared republic that is internationally recognized as an autonomous region of Somalia.[1][2]
WADDANI Party is one of the three official Political parties in the Republic of Somaliland. It was founded in 2012 by a group of politicians led by Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (irro) who is also its chairman and Presidential Candidate in the forthcoming election of November 2017.
WADDANI is the main opposition party and has strong relations with the international community as well as the world and regional bodies such as IGAD and its member states.
Chairman Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi is the sitting speaker of the Somaliland Parliament and has excellent international connections as a result of his extensive experience in foreign affairs.
With great party Manifesto and wide public support in all of the regions of Somaliland, Waddani party is tipped to win the November election with large majority.
