WRGR (102.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an adult contemporary format serving Tupper Lake, New York, United States. The station is owned by Radio Lake Placid, Inc.[2]
History
The station went on the air as WTPL-FM on March 17, 1980. On August 31, 1987, the station changed its call sign to the current WRGR.[3]
WRGR formerly broadcast a classic rock format branded as "Rock 105", which was simulcast with WLPW (105.5 FM) in Lake Placid, New York. In June 2017, the Adirondack Daily Enterprise reported that the stations had switched to a simulcast of sister station WNBZ-FM.[4]
