WLMB is a religious independent television station serving northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan that is licensed to Toledo, Ohio, United States. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on VHF channel 5 (or virtual channel 40 via PSIP) from a transmitter located in Jasper, Michigan. Owned by Dominion Broadcasting, WLMB maintains studios on Capital Commons Drive in Toledo.

History

The station's first call sign was issued as WXAE-TV on July 17, 1992. It adopted its current call-sign on May 17, 1994. However, the station did not commence broadcasting until October 19, 1998.[1]

WLMB was an affiliate of Pax from 2000 to 2002, but they only carried selected original and religious programming, plus weather reports.

Programming

WLMB's lineup features religious and children's shows in the mornings, classic TV series[2] in the afternoons and early evenings, and more religious programming during primetime and overnights. Some of these programs are provided to WLMB from FamilyNet and The Worship Network.[3]
