W. Shelton (first name and dates unknown) was an English cricketer who was recorded in two first-class matches from 1826 to 1828 when he played for a combined Sheffield and Leicester team, totalling 10 runs with a highest score of 7 and holding two catches. He took four wickets with a best analysis of 3/13. Shelton played for Leicester Cricket Club from 1824 to 1829.[1]
