W. David Hancock
W. David Hancock is an American playwright.
Life
Hancock graduated from the University of Iowa Playwriting workshop, with an MFA.[1] His play The Convention of Cartography was performed in 1994 by The Foundry Theatre at a gallery in Chelsea.[2][3] His play The Race of the Ark Tattoo played at PS122 and the Cherry Lane Theater, and toured regionally.

Reviews
The Race of the Ark Tattoo is an exploration of the nebulous territory between memories and dreams. It takes place not in a theater but in a flea market (installed in a gallery on the side of P.S.122).
