Wólka Jankowska [ˈvulka janˈkɔfska] (German Marienwalde) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Srokowo, within Kętrzyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Srokowo, 14 km (9 mi) north of Kętrzyn, and 78 km (48 mi) northeast of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
