Vrushika Mehta (born 18 February 1994) is an Indian television actress and professional dancer.

Mehta made her debut with Channel V's popular dance based youth show Dil Dosti Dance as Sharon Rai Prakash. She has also worked in many shows like Aasman Se Aage, Satrangi Sasural. She has done episodics in Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Twistwala Love.

She was recently appeared in Star Plus's Ishqbaaz as Ishana.

Life and family

Vrushika Mehta was born 18 February 1994 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India into a Gujarati family and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.[1] She has completed her graduation from Tolani College of Commerce.[2]

Career

Vrushika Mehta made her television debut with youth based dance show Dil Dosti Dance as Sharon Rai Prakash, a professional dancer opposite Shantanu Maheshwari. [3] Their chemistry turned out to be a huge hit that they went on to win Indian Television Awards for "Viewers Choice Best Onscreen Couple" award.

Later she featured in two episodes of Yeh Hai Aashiqui. In one episode she played the character of Ruksar Malik opposite Shantanu Maheshwari[4] and in the other she played the role of Twinkle.[5] She has also dubbed for some episodes Yeh Hai Aashiqui.[6] Later in 2015 played episodics in Zing's Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and Zee TV's Fear Files. In Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya she played the role of a professional dancer Shanaya.[7] In Fear Files she played the role of Navanita.[8]

In 2015, she acted in the show Twistwala Love opposite Rohan Gandotra as Amrita Prasad for five episodes.[9] In late 2015, she entered Satrangi Sasural as Kaira, an innocent and bubbly girl opposite Ravish Desai who was later replaced by Rahul Sharma.[10][11] In 2016, she hosted reality travel based show Desi Explorers Jordan.[12] In July 2016, she entered Ishqbaaaz as Ishana.[13]
