Virsad is a village located in the taluka of Borsad, the district of Anand within the state of Gujarat, India. The village is named after the Vireshwar Temple at the western end of the village. Virsad was hometown to the first patidar(Patel) " Vir Vasandas ". Virsad covers 4.3 square miles. On the northeast end of the village is a 34-acre talav (lake).
