Virola venosa is a species of tree in the Myristicaceae family. It is found in Colombia, Venezuela and Brazil (in Amapá, Amazonas, Pará and Rondônia).[1] It grows 5–30 m (16–98 ft) tall.[1]
The fruits are ellipsoidal to subglobular, 19–22 mm (0.75–0.87 in) long and 16–18 mm (0.63–0.71 in) in diameter.[1]
