Virginia's 27th Senate district
District 27 of the Virginia Senate is a senatorial district in the northern part of the Commonwealth of Virginia and currently consists of Clarke and Frederick counties, the city of Winchester, and parts of Fauquier, Culpeper, Stafford, and Loudoun counties.[1][2] This district is currently represented by Jill Holtzman Vogel.
The district includes the communities of Armel; Ashby Run; Berrys; Berryville; Bloomfield; Boyce; Brucetown; Burnt Factory; Canterburg; Cedar Hill; Clear Brook; Cross Junction; Dehaven; Gainesboro; Gaylord; Gordondale; Gore; Green Spring; Grimes; Hayfield; Jordan Springs; Klines Mill; Lost Corner; Marlboro; Meadow Mills; Middleton; Millwood; Mt. Pleasant; Mt. Weather; Mt. Williams; Mountain Falls; Paris; Pine Acres; Reynolds Store; Rock Enon Springs; Round Hill; Shawnee Land; Shockeysville; Stephens City; Stone Bridge; Star Tannery; Trapp; Upperville; Wadesville; Waterloo; Webbtown; Whitacre; White Hall; White Post; Wilde Acres; Willisville; Willow Lake; Winchester; etc.
Redistricting
Prior to the 2011 redistricting, the district had consisted of Clarke County, Fauquier County, Frederick County, Loudoun County, and Winchester.
