Vincenzo Petagna

Vincenzo Petagna (17 January 1734 in Naples – 6 October 1810) was an Italian biologist and physician, and a director of the Monte Oliveto botanical gardens. He was the teacher of Antonio Savaresi. The plant Petagnaea gussonei is named in his honour.
