Vimaanam (English: Airplane) is an upcoming 2017 Malayalam drama film written and directed by debutant Pradeep M. Nair, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role.[1]

Production
Vimanam is a big budget movie involving a lot of VFX works for the flying scenes. The movie will have two time periods with Prithviraj appearing in two different looks. Reportedly, the actor will be shedding a few kilos for the movie. Prithviraj will also be taking flying courses to playing his part in the movie.[2]
Principal photography commenced from 9 February 2017 in Kochi.[3] The main location is Bhatkal and Mangalore. Other locations are Delhi, Kottayam and Idukki
