Vijayapuri (South)

VijayaPuri south is a village in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, India, with a population of 8,393 according to the 2011 census.[1] The village is situated on the right bank of Nagarjuna Sagar Dam in the flow of Krishna River. Renowned island museum Nagarjuna konda is located near this village. This village comes under postal index code or PIN 522439. STD code 08642.

Andhra Pradesh Residential Junior College, Andhra Pradesh, is situated in this village. Though it is often referred to as Nagarjuna sagar, the official location is Vijayapuri south.
