Vijay Namdevrao Wadettiwar
Vijay Namdevrao Wadettiwar is the former State Minister of Water Resources in the Government of Maharashtra in India.[1] He is leader from the Indian National Congress Party.
Political career
He was elected as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Chimur, in Chandrapur district in October 2009.[2]
He was, also, MLA from Chimur during 2004-2009.[3]
On 22 March 2017, Wadettiwar was suspended along with 18 other MLAs until 31 December for interrupting Maharashtra Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar during a state budget session and burning copies of the budget outside the assembly four days earlier.[4]
