Vice Chief of the Army Staff (India)
The Vice Chief of the Army Staff is second in command of the Indian Army next to Chief of the Army Staff. He is responsible for operation and army related tasks. As of January 2017, the post was held by Sarath Chand succeeding Bipin Rawat.[1]
