The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University is the executive head of the University.[2] Upon the VC's appointment by the Governor of Lagos State,[3] the VC has the overall responsibility for the policy and administration of the University. Professor Olanrewaju Fagbohun currently serves as the 8th substantive VC of Lagos State University, since January 6, 2016.[4]
